7 Kids Crafting Supply Store The Greeting Farm

I'm back today to share a super fun card I made using Buddy Ian from The Greeting Farm that i purchased over at 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store. I had a lot of fun creating this!

I started out stamping my image twice. Once on Xpress It cardstock and again on brown patterned paper. I colored up my image on the Xpress It cardstock and then on the patterned paper I cut out just the shirt. I adhered it to my colored image and colored it up a little just to add some shadows to it.

For my base, I use a kraft cardstock. I used the Tim Holtz Dot Fade stencil and applied some Walnut Stain Distress Oxide for a really cool faded background. For the sentiment, I used the same distress ink oxide and stamped it twice for a nice solid look. To finish off the card, I adhered it to a chocolate cardstock and popped up my image with foam tape.

Hope you enjoyed today's card!

I have a beautiful but simple card to share with you today. This one is featuring a stamp from Kraftin Kimmie Stamps. It was the Super Secret Krafty Stamp from February which means it won't be released until April .. I  think. .. haha... You can visit the Kraftin Kimmie facebook group to watch for more details at the beginning of each month.

This stamp was so beautiful just by itself so all I did was colored it with my copics and added some layers.

Sending Sincere Thoughts card SVG Cut Club

Hello! Hello! It's my day to post over on the SVG Cut Club blog and today I'm sharing a super awesome card! All the links to the products will be provided below.

I played around with my distress ink and created this really cool background. Then I added the peeking sun from the March Bundle at SVG Cutting Files. I'm always in need of thank you cards so I used the Sincere Thanks set from Kraftin Kimmie and stamped that on my flag that I cut using the flag die from Jaded Blossom. I heat embossed it to really make it pop! And for a little added touch I added some sequin mix from Pretty Pink Posh.

7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store and The Greeting Farm

Big News!!!! Super excited to share with you today that I am now a part of the 7 Kids Design Team!!!! Woop! Woop!! If you haven't heard of them before, 7 Kids provides supplies for your crafting needs - all in the name really ... 7 Kids Your Crafting Supply Store... haha!

Today is my first post as an official Design Team member and I'm sharing a bookmark I made for my daughter using The Greeting Farm.

I played around some more with my distress inks which is what I used to make the background. I went for the pinks and yellows for this one because I KNEW I wanted to use a little fairy for it.  While my background was drying, I colored up the fairy with my copics and cut it out using my Scan N Cut machine.

For the sentiment I actually heat embossed it with WOW white embossing powder using my Misti stamp tool. I have found when it comes to embossing, since the ink is clear, to stamp it twice. That gives me nice solid coverage and using my Misti is perfect to line it up perfect each time.

Once the sentiment was complete and my fairy adhered, I laminated it. Perfect-o!! And she loves it so that's good!

All the links are provided below the picture.

Also be sure to head over to the 7 Kids Blog! Lots of great things going on! There is a challenge to participate in for a chance to win a gift certificate to the store and also a special deal going on as well!

Hop C.C. Designs

Hello Hello again! I'm sharing another card from the new release at C.C. Designs! I did something a little different this time with the set.

I took the carrot from this set and flipped it OVER. Using the BACK of the stamp, I randomly stamped around my paper using second generation stamping. This is where I stamp OFF of my paper first and then go to my paper. That way it appears lighter. Once I was satisfied I had enough, I flipped the carrot back over, inked it up and stamped on top of my carrot "blob" .. lol .Sorry I don't know what other word to use but "blob".

Next I used the sentiment "Boing!!" and stamped in between the carrots. My bunny I colored up and used the coordinating die for this set to cut him out. For my sentiment, I stamped in Versamark ink, heat embossed with Recollections White Embossing Powder and adhered to the card. I attached my bunny with some foam squares to "pop" him up a little.

Pretty cool right?!

Kitty with Chickies C.C. Designs Card

Happy Saturday! I had this little kitty all colored up for a while now and just misplaced it so it never got added to a card. Well... I finished it off last night! I used some distress inks to create a soft outdoor background for kitty and friends. I also used the clouds from one of my new dies I got from C.C. Designs. I have a youtube video on my most recent haul so be sure to check it out! Some great deals going on right now (at the time of this post!) so get them while supplies last!

And of course to top it off - I adhered the white cardstock to a foam piece for dimension because I LOVE dimension on my cards!
